About the Book

Once again, Gary has put his hand on the pulse of society. His second edition is even more compelling and powerful than his first edition. This time Gary addresses issues that are affecting everyone in today's society, not just youth or teens. Chances are, if he did not mention or address it in his first edition, it is in his second edition. There are twenty thought provoking poems in this edition. He addresses some of the following issues:

  • Black on Black Crime
  • Profanity
  • Unequal Justice in America
  • Scantily Clad Females
  • Steroid Use in Sports
  • A Single Mothers' Poem
  • A Soldiers' poem
  • A Modern Day Heroes' Poem
  • A Marching Band Poem
  • An Educators' Poem

If you enjoyed the first powerful edition from Gary, you will enjoy this edition even more. He does not sugarcoat, water down, or pull any punches when he addresses these very relevant issues.
