About the Book
This book is a collection of stories based on the author's childhood in South Florida and on his adult family life and career as a forester in Georgia. The author uses his stories to entertain his readers and to teach some of life's important lessons.
About the Author
Frank Fenton Forth, Jr. is an Alabama native. He was raised and educated in Florida. His B.S. degree in forestry is from the University of Florida. In addition, he has completed seminar work from the University of Georgia. He is a retired Army Officer having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He is also a retired real estate broker and appraiser. He loves flying, woodworking, big-band music, the Georgia Bulldogs, and his country. The majority of his writing is factual, (with some name changes) and is interspersed with humorous tall tales. This storyteller lives in Cordele, Georgia with his wife, of 57 years. He and Ruby Grace have four children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren whom they love dearly.
