About the Book
What is the point of life, after all? Is there any point? Is life just spending and consuming or are there spiritual secrets that need to be discovered. The poetry in this book arises out of the quest for meaning in a world that appears on the surface quite meaningless.
About the Author
Dr. Jay G. Williams has taught Religious Studies at Hamilton College since 1960. Beside publishing several scholarly books he has also published poetry in several journals and in three chapbooks. In this work, which is arranged autobiographically, he explores through poetry basic spiritual questions and experiences. From a boyhood in upstate New York he travels the world in search of that pearl of great price of which the masters teach.
