About the Book

Frustration, confusion, and anger filled the heart of Jonathan French as he is separated from his three brothers at a young age as a result of his parents divorce. The life he lived was that of animosity towards his father for leaving them, and then his mother for sending him away to live with his aunt and uncle, but during this time is when he learns the true meaning of unconditional love. As a senior in high school, the sports world followed to see if Jonathan would become the next LeBron James, but when his soft spoken yet confident external ego came head to head with his fiery and frustrated internal one, what started out as a minor disciplinary action from his coach turned chaotic and Jonathan quit the team. What many saw as a dream shattered and a life destroyed, Jonathan saw as a lesson learned. But would his earlier life experiences be enough to take on a journey filled with death, deception, and infidelity?

Dexter Nunnery is the author of Saved By Love/ A Silent Confession and a 2019 Arts, Media and Entertainment Award recipient from Ventura County Office of Education. Dexter is the founder of The Hip Hop Help Organization and CEO of DNC Consulting & Management. Dexter is originally from Mississippi where he attended Jackson State University but now resides in Camarillo, California where he is enjoying life as an Entrepreneur and business owner.
