About the Book

OneLilo is a book of poems and thoughts covering areas such as the elasticity of mind, self knowledge, the treadmill of our dreams, the entertainment of our miseries, the fake and easy solutions to our problems, the baggage of memories, the giant genetic lottery, religion, the clash between our principles and our comfort, the simplicity of our happy unimportant moments, the fact that it's the last word that kills and that we cannot hate what we are afraid to touch.

It also attempts to shed some light into the shapeless friends, the transparent rope we often try to balance on, the discovery of our weaknesses before they discover us and the view that optimists are not people who are optimistic about their future but those who are optimistic about their past.

About the Author

Angelos Michalopoulos was born in Greece in 1962. He spent the first 18 years of his life in Athens and then came to the U.S. where he studied Economics and Politics in Cornell University. After graduating he moved to New York where he was involved in the trading of various financial markets around the world. He is married and has five children.
