Doyle Hall cried tears of tenderness and compassion, but never backed down from another man. He became a master motivator of people because he bothered to listen. He walked away from wealth, preferring instead to abide by his principles. He suffered the untimely loss of most of his family yet maintained his faith in God. He was a talented athlete who gained fame as a wrestler, a professional boxer, a rodeo cowboy and a golfer, but never let his fame dissuade his propensity for modesty. He never felt sorry for himself, having learned the value of overcoming what would seem to others as overwhelming odds. He simply would not quit.
