About the Book

The Jesus Journey is an historical novel that captures the drama and excitement of the journey that Jesus took and the many encounters that he had with people. The people that have long been the subject of a few scattered verses are brought to life and are full of fear, motive and emotional fervor. The reader takes this journey through the eyes of Jesus.

About the Author

Irene Erickson, author of The Jesus Journey, was raised and educated in the South. After raising and educating her three, now grown, children she entered The University of the South School of Theology, earned her MDiv, and was ordained into the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She served as minister to one congregation for nine years and then as Excecutive Director of the Chattanooga Habitat for Humanity for three years.She has been an avid student of ancient history, especialy of the Middle East, most of her life and has traveled in that area several times. Her extensive research provides a well informed background for her novel, The Jesus Journey.
