About the Book

Throughout this book you will see and feel the pain that I feel, but you also see the joy, the passion and love I feel. If you look deep enough you will also see the pain that I see in every-day life that most people don't want to see.

I was a little boy growing up in North Carolina during the early 70s, a time of changes. One either changed or was left behind. Whites and Blacks were learning to live together, work together. The dream was coming true. Or was it?

About the Author

William lived in Roxboro, NC, and attended Person Senior High, where he began to write. Back in the early 70s he did not have a television set, so he wrote instead of watching TV.
