About the Author

Susan E. Cross holds an MFA in poetry and currently teaches creative writing for the Emeritus Institute of Irvine Valley College. All authors are members of her class. Some of the authors have been widely published and some are novices. Each work has been selected for its insight into the collective human consciousness and for the skill with which that insight is communicated, whether the style be humorous or hard-hitting. Above all, this book is testimony of the valuable resource we find in our Emeritus population.
