About the Author

Patrick White was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Manhattan, New York. Patrick grew up in the melting pot culture of New York, ranging from Irish and Jewish all the way to African and Spanish communities. Later in life he moved to Queens, New York, and eventually to Pasadena, California, where he attended Los Angeles Community College. He now lives in the movie mecca of the world, Hollywood, California, where he has found the joy of freedom to clear his thoughts and write his first novel, Nickey Valentine.
