About the Book

When Orton Rumstad joins the faculty of North Star Military Academy as a wet-behind-the-ears country bumpkin fresh out of college, he has no idea what is in store for him. He is walking into a school with more than its fair share of juvenile delinquents among the cadets and with a faculty even more in need of professional help than the students placed in their charge.

About the Author

Oliver Andresen, PHD, Chicago State University Professor Emeritus, earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Chicago in 1967. His doctoral thesis, The Significance of Profundity in Literature, was honored by the International Reading Association as one of the top seven dissertations in the field of reading for that year.
