About the Book
Friends Like These is an "informative, bright, thought-provoking play of a president who doesn't always jump to mind. It is a period play that is alive with interesting, three-dimensional characters living in an overlooked time period in our country. In President Warren G. Harding, Schneider has created an intense, balanced character-sometimes optimistic and funny, at other times pensive and mistrusting. On top of it all Schneider's play proves that politics are rarely as simple as they might seem."
-Young Playwright's National Review
