About the Author

Luz Maria Villanueva-Gonzalez, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist who has worked with both individuals and groups, is a credentialed college instructor and counselor who has taught psychology and cross-cultural studies. She conducts a Spanish-language radio program for audiences in both Mexico and the United States and she has developed and led workshops on cultural and personal growth topics.
