About the Book

The Catholic Church finally drops the celibacy requirement for the priesthood. Fr. Stephen Wollmering, the dedicated pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, goes on a quest for the perfect wife. He marries Catherine Leitner, who defies Church traditions and steps on some big toes. She's not about to roll over and play dead for any pope. What's worse, she may be leading the priest to see things from a whole new perspective. When bishop Isidore pressures Fr. Stephen to make him see the error of his ways, it may not necessarily be the one the Church wants him to rectify.

About the Author

J. Delgado-Figueroa, a former Benedictine monk and linguistics professor, is the author of Tropical Snow, Susan and Her Elders and the Spanish novels Salomé Laughs Best and Puerto Rican Laments. He also writes screenplays and has reviewed books for Críticas magazine. He lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
