About the Book
A murder mystery. This novel takes us into the rich farm country of the Midwest. The body of a young farm wife is found naked and with a gaping wound in her chest, on her kitchen floor. Joe Lynch, County Sheriff, seeks her killer. His investigation introduces the reader to Dulcy, a 60's hippie, to Happy Tucker, a religious recluse, to two would-be drug kings, to Stub Sorenson and his vivacious wife, Kitty, and to various men of the law, a whole community still awash in the residuals of the all encompassing faith of two now dead Catholic mothers.
