About the Author
Emogene Boyer was born in 1932, on a mountain in a remote area of West Virginia where she lived the first 12 years of her life. She and her husband Robert Boyer have three children and four grandsons. They spend winters in Florida and summers on a small farm near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
