This is the first novel of Saylor D Smith, a high school journalism teacher in Springfield, Oregon.

Nebraska-born, Smith settled in Oregon in 1981 after fifteen years teaching in Southern California.

Besides reading and writing he enjoys playing tennis.

Smith lives in Eugene with his wife Karen and daughter Evynne.
