About the Book
Charley Pickney wanted to become a screenwriter, but right out of college computer science provided a more reliable income where he could eat regularly and work standard business hours. So he chose the easier road to success.
Then one day he got a chance to "shoot the moon" and screenwrite a cowboy-western saga for a Dallas cowboy boot manufacturer, and he hitched his wagon to that star.
He was glad that he did.
About the Author
Richard Braden and his family moved to Torrance, California in the 1970s where they were immediately smitten by the tales of artistic excellence and heroic goomba associated with the motion picture industry.
The stories the neighbors told sitting on their front steps are all retold in My Piece of Hollywood.
