About the Book

Arjun is a young Indian doctor who is reeling from the tragedy of a broken love affair. Despite having ambitious plans, his deep sense of alienation derails his future. He travels to New York and begins an unexpected romance with a young student, Sonia. Her family's illicit lifestyle takes Arjun on paths he had never before imagined. One moment a budding medical professional, Arjun finds his life spiraling out of control. Arjun's best friend, a spirited African-American revolutionary, convinces him to travel to Cuba. About the Author

Rajeev Prasad studied philosophy at Northwestern University prior to completing medical school. He is currently a physician living with his wife in downtown Chicago. He enjoys practicing and teaching Aikido, a Japanese martial art. This is his first novel.
