About the Book

Charles Durkham is a 34-year-old printer who fears things outside his control, especially nuclear war. Orphaned at a young age, and living in San Francisco with his girlfriend Mega, whom he loves but doesn't trust, he creates a convoluted plan to save the world—if only the world will listen.

About the Author

J. Bateson is executive director of a 24-hour crisis center in the San Francisco Bay Area. He lives in Moraga, California with his wife, son, three step-daughters, and assorted pets.
