About the Author

Dr. Joseph A. Mauriello (Best Doctors of America ((bestdoctors.com)), 1998?2004, Woodward White) is one of approximately 400 oculoplastic surgeons who are board certified ophthalmologists and fellow members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He joins a select few surgeons nationally who dedicate their energies to cosmetic eyelid surgery. One of the foremost plastic surgeons of the eyelid, he has performed over 10,000 eyelid surgeries since 1983 and has lectured nationally and published three major textbooks including Techniques of Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery: A case study approach published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, Philadelphia, PA in 2004.
