Seasons of Life

About the Book

Seasons of Life consists of poems written over the past thirty-five years. They are based on experiences and reflections of events during that time. These poems express the thinking of a young lady as she matures into an adult woman, outlining some of the sad times and happy times of life.

About the Author

Carolyn Matthews Simmons was born in Union, Mississippi. She attended East Central Community College and Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana, earning a BA in Business Education. She taught school for several years and retired after twenty-three years as Executive Director of the Mississippi Dental Association. She resides with her husband on the family farm in Newton County, Mississippi.
