About the Book

Vijay was open to the idea of getting married and, to the relief of his parents, he wanted to marry someone Indian. The problem was that although he was ready to settle down, he was not ready to settle.

He wanted to fall in love and marry his perfect soul mate from America. He didn’t want to marry someone selected through an arranged marriage process within a matter of days from India. But how would he find this special person? What follows is the journey of many first generation Americans as Vijay endures countless friendly set ups, family arranged dates, Indian dating services, and matrimonial conventions in his comedic pursuit to find Arranged Love.

About the Author

Ajay Patel is a first generation Indian-American who currently lives in Santa Monica, California. His search for a wife recently culminated in a love marriage after he spent several years being introduced to a number of women around the country by his family and friends.

Many of the experiences faced by the characters in his story are based on his real life journey to find a wife, and now that he is married, he can be found constantly setting up his single friends in the hopes that they, too, can find Arranged Love.
