About the Book
Terminal Greed, a romance/thriller novel, presents a possible scenario concerning Mafia interests in the Florida Lottery. Terminal Greed was written from both the male and female points of view and uses two protagonists—Wade George, a retired U.S. attorney, and Ruby Hightower, a novelist. While engaged in an affair that originates over e-mail, they find themselves embroiled in a lottery scam that involves Ruby's husband. When the Florida Mafia insists on a piece of the action, Wade and Ruby literally run for their lives.
About the Author
Mr. Allen Pedrick retired in March, 1993 from his position as Vice President with a Fortune 100 firm whose primary sales were to the U.S. Army and foreign governments. He's also worked with the National Aeronautics and Space Administrations in Launch Operations, and has traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East where he performed undercover investigations for a law enforcement branch of the U.S. Government. He holds BS and MS degrees in Science and has studied extensively in Contract Law. Previous works include a collection of science fiction short stories, the novels Greencove and Greenknight, and various nonfiction publications. Mr. Pedrick was listed in Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and is past treasurer of the Pinellas Authors and Writers Organization.
Ms. Lil Cromer, also a member of the same writers organization, is a prolific writer of short fiction, nonfiction articles, and essays published by the St. Petersburg Times, The Largo Leader, Downtown Main Street News, and various other newspapers. She is thoroughly versed in local politics and its affect on the Florida Legislature. Ms. Cromer has lived on the West coast of Florida, particularly the Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas, for over thirty years.
