About the Book
Dauntless, common-born Giametta Dondi is enamored of wealth, power, and the grand amore just as early Renaissance begins in 15th Century Venice. Her tenacious pursuit of the count who took advantage of her innocence leads to years of life in his castle. Giametta’s ambition to be a “lady” and share her lordship’s noble name leads to her success with music, art, and perfection as hostess of the castle. Acceptance, rejection, fruitation and downfall color her plight until her bastard son, Lord Federigo’s pride and joy, finds a way to a new life for his mother.
About the Author
Author of both fiction and non-fiction, Ms. Kennedy Lab says relationships are her favorite subject. With "country girl" beginnings, she traveled widely in Europe and fell in love with the Italian Renaissance era through paintings and sculpture, cathedrals, and castles, but it was the historical characters she researched that fascinated her the most.
