When in Florence is a richly varied series of fifteen interwoven stories, in which a minor character in one story becomes the major character in another.
About the Author
Richard Cortez Day wrote these stories in Florence, Italy. His stories have appeared in numorous literary magazines including, The Kenyon Review, New England Review/Breadloaf Quarterly, Quarterly West, Carolina Quarterly, and Witness. He has been awarded a fiction writing grant by the National Endowment for the Arts. He lives in a wooded valley near Arcata, California.
