About the Book

Even though he had worked with young people for over 30 years, Rev. Shay Gillespie was still quite hesitant at first, to take on the challenge of Early Childhood Education. It did not take him long to realize that there was, and still is an extreme need to reach out to poor and disadvantaged children who are striving to beat the odds. Most of these children lead different lives, have varying personalities, come from challenging backgrounds, and are often forced to live in a world of their own.

As an ordained minister of God's Gospel and a professional in the field of youth services, Rev. R. Rev. Shay Gillespie has been in the childcare profession for nearly a decade. Rev. Gillespie has worked with young people for over 30 years.

He owns an Education degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He enjoys writing and speaking. Monticello is located in rural Southeast Arkansas.
