About the Author

Joyce Hunt has a B.A. and an M.A. from Hunter College. She was a reading specialist and a teacher trainer in the N.Y. Public School System and is the author of 34 books for young readers, many of which were named Outstanding Science Books for Children by National Science Teachers Association.
