About the Book

Linda is forced to move out her father's house. She settles in New York City and meets Garry, a young engineer. Just like a modern fairy tale, they fall in love, get married and move into a Bronx apartment house. All seems well until, on a long job assignment, Garry goes overseas and Linda is lured into an affair with older neighbor, Stuart.

Through a spellbound plot the reader is asked to root for the adulterous wife who might become a better person through deadly tribulations and time spent in purgatory.

Linda gets involved with drug overdose deaths, money laundering and Stuarts tries to turn her into a sexual bondservant. The harrowing experience changes Linda but the FBI arrests her and she has to stand trial.

Should Linda's character be an inspiration to millions of neglected wives? Should they sympathize with her temptations and angry revenge? Shall justice be served? Shall the law of the land prevail to make her to pay for the crimes she committed to save herself? Should her husband forgive and should Linda forgive him for abandoning her in pursuit of his own agenda.

About the Author

In this book, Larry Serfozo erects a monument to his favorite place where he grew up, the Bronx. He loves that misunderstood and denigrated place where time stands still and simple people live free of mortgage lenders and deceptive conglomerates. A retired engineer, Larry now lives in Florida and cocktail in hand, under the deep shade of rustling evergreens, he ponders, why do we thrive so much to leave a legacy?
