About the Book

Returning to the Void came into manifestation per the request of Hohepa Delamere, alias Papa Joe, who is a widely known and highly respected Maori elder and healer from New Zealand. Together with other healers he came to the USA and also to Europe to help ople outside his home soil. Their tremendous success abroad has been a result of successfully addressing the whole being instead of just treating symptoms, and in that way, achieving hundreds of "miracle healings".

In June 2005 Papa Joe met Iris Loesel in California and asked her to help preserve Maori knowledge by writing about it. Iris, who was new to Maori healing, was given a spiritual transfer of knowledge by Papa Joe and by that was enabled to channel this book. The final text was read and approved by Papa Joe. This is the first of a series of books about Papa Joe and his teachings on Maori wisdom and healing.

About the Author

German born author and artist Iris Loesel is an M.D. and has a Ph.D. in Art History.

A journey of ongoing personal transformation involving psychoanalysis, extensive reading on spirituality and psychology, the practice of shamanism, holotropic breath work, initiation as a Reiki master, receiving Hindu Shaktipat, painting, and daily meditation practice as a Zen Buddhist has guided her to many inner places and prepared her to write this book.
