Where do we find the authentic faith of the Christian Church? In today’s society we see within the Christian world numerous denominations, each claiming the fullness of the faith. Each denomination argues that it is guided by the Holy Spirit and each argues that it has the correct interpretation of the scriptures.

While it is true that God is active in all these denomination, the diversity of belief within Christianity must be viewed as troublesome since it is contrary to the unity that Christ so desired.

It is for this reason that we must as Christians seek to understand our roots. This book begins this journey in seeking the roots of the Christian faith through a scriptural, historical, and catechetical study of early Christianity.

It is an unashamed argument for Catholic Christianity. Catholic Christianity stands out brightly from among the numerous denominations as the true faith.

About the Author

Fr. John J. Pasquini is an author, lecturer, guest speaker, and television spokesperson on issues of Catholic identity, morality, and spirituality. He is best known for being the author of Atheism and Salvation, Through the Night and into the Dawn, Why Catholic? Early Christian Teachings, and the co-author of the Stations of the Cross: A Reflection of Jesus and His Mother.
