About the Author

Claire Tétreau Brandt was born during a mid winter blizzard in Sanford, Maine. She attended the St. Ignatius School as did her eleven siblings. Now retired, Claire lives in the land of endless summer in La Mesa, California.

Patricia McCune Irvine attended schools in Pasadena, California and graduated from UCLA with a degree in elementary education. She taught in San Gabriel, had a second career at the Pasadena Independent Star News and through the years has been an author of both fiction and nonfiction.
