About the Book

Twelve Degrees North is the story of a country and its people, as seen through the eyes of one of its sons, Richard John. The story of a country and a young man's life, it recounts how his life was affected in one way or another, by the events that happened in his country, from his early childhood to his adult life. It tells o f the changes from the early settlers to the American intervention in nineteen eighty-three. It's a special documentation of one's love for his country, and what his nation is all about.

Born, raised and educated in Grenada, West Indies.
Moved to New York in the 1990?s.
Married, father of two teenage sons.
Accomplished chef in both Grenada and New York.
Loves music of all types.
Amateur trumpeter, practiced with the Grenada Police Band.
Written countless numbers of poems.
