About the Book

Set in pre-World War II Yugoslavia, this is an account of a young boys life and remembrances of a brother that died without warning. Although life must go on, there is always a trace of those lost left behind.

About the Author

Born in Yugoslavia, of German descent, Vaso is the youngest of four children. He served proudly in the Yugoslavian Air Force for thirteen years, and played soccer in France before immigrating to the United States in 1962. He now enjoys his retirement with his loving wife Lillian in Nashville, TN.
