About the Book
Nora is a middle-aged mother of two teenagers when she finds herself again pregnant. Keeping up a facade of contentment, she nonetheless becomes secretly depressed. After a car accident she becomes amnesic remembering nothing of her early life. Upon her discharge from the hospital, her husband is shocked and dismayed when she reveals a problem much more serious than amnesia. Nora's search to discover her identity with the help of her family, the family doctor, a psychiatrist and an unusual counselor is a story of courage and persistence in the face of many challenges to her credibility and sanity.
About the Author
After many years as a Registered Nurse and mother of 6, Carol Poss retired in 1999. Becoming a volunteer in the city of Leon Valley, Texas, she has served as Leon Valley Council Member from 2001?2003, on various city committees and as President of the Friends of Leon Valley Public Library. Always an avid reader and writer of poetry, she won 2nd prize in the 2002 San Antonio Poetry Fair. This book is an attempt to express inner thoughts in verse and fiction. It is a joy to share it with you.
