About the Book

Throughout the history of mankind, family histories have been passed down from generation to generation by the stories that are told by each generation to the next. In my case, three circumstances have shaped my desire to write a book of my life stories for my children, Matthew and Christine.

One, I have a great passion and love for my children. Two, after my Father passed away in February 2000, I thought a lot about the stories he and my Mother told me and the lessons that I learned from them. And three, I was struck by how much my children enjoyed stories of my life when I would tell them bedtime stories.

I have been so very blessed to have been raised in a family that was so loving and supportive and in a country where there are boundless opportunities for those who work hard and take advantage of those opportunities. So, I wanted to share some of my life stories in a book for my children (and their children and children's children). I hope that this book makes you laugh, cry and think about some important things in your own life.

About the Author

Steve Scolari is the son of first generation Italian American parents, who gave everything of themselves to their five children. He is a graduate of Drew University and Duke University School of Law and lives in Devon, Pennsylvania with his wife Lisa and their two children, Matthew and Christine.
