About the Book

Massage therapist, Cassandra Frost, finds herself facing an emotional meltdown while dealing with her upcoming wedding anniversary; the second one that she will face as a widow. Since her husband's death, Cassy has filled the void with work, family and friendships. But all this is about to change when Cassy has three bizarre dreams in which she witnesses a murder. Cassy is convinced that she is being caught up in the family superstition known as The Threes. The belief that if you have the same dream three times, and if, within three days, you become involved with three strangers, all three people's lives will interconnect within three weeks.

As fate would have it, Cassy does encounter three new patients at the clinic within three days: two-year-old Tommy, who is being treated for a hyperactivity disorder; Stephan, an anomalous man needing stress reduction and Sarah, a young female patient suffering a whiplash injury. It is Cassy's involvement with Sarah that drags her into the world of pornography, drugs and murder. The only thing Cassy knows for certain is that she needs to have a plan that will give her a chance to survive the deadly night in the Arizona desert that she knows awaits her. And she is prepared for everything-except for falling in love.

About the Author

Kathy J. Keller lives with her partner in The Netherlands. She teaches high school ELL, and is author of the children?s adventure series, African Bush Creature?s Safari. The Butterfly Clinic is her first novel.
