About the Author
Amanda Cockrell grew up in Southern California, the daughter of a screenwriter and a novelist. She lives now in Roanoke, Virginia, where she is managing editor of Hollins University?s literary journal, The Hollins Critic, and director of the University?s graduate programs in children?s and adolescent literature.
