About the Author
Onteaka Crayton-Scott is a native of Stuttgart, Arkansas but now resides in West Memphis, Arkansas. In 2002, her debut novel, DeAlmonie Madigan earned her the N.A.A.C.P. Citizens Award in Arts and Letters for literary excellence. She has been married to Bruce C. Scott, Sr. for the past 21 years and they have three sons, Bruce Jr., Matthew and Mark.
