About the Book

The Poems are varied and touch on many human emotions familiar to us all.
*A young love destroyed by alcohol
*A woman ponders a long ago love affair
*A woman wonders if she is to blame for the deaths of her lovers
*Critics and observers of society
*Grief and sadness
*Joy of family and friends
*Satire and depression

The Narratives reflect intricacies of human action and emotion. Whatever level of society, they exist in all of us if we look for them.

*A promiscuous woman perhaps created by a lack of parental love.
*A love-starved overweight boy bullied by his father.
*The effect of alcoholism on a young mother.
*The tragic results of malicious gossip on a middle-aged man.
*The ugliness of racism suffered by a young athlete.
*Infidelity and unrest in the thirties age group.
*A well liked but puzzling tongue-in-cheek regular patron.
*All of these people and more wait in the Brothers Bar.
