Where meaningful, happenings prior to 1000c.e. are explored. There is an impending sense of doom evident as the second millennium develops. The possibility of the emergence of peaceful lifestyles such as the Amish and Quakers is disappearing. We have lost Walt Whitman's fierce championship of the common man. One chapter is devoted to the horrors of the 20th century warfare, after which a suggestion is made for person of the century. Among other impending perils, the atomic bomb situation necessitates a new mindset as proposed in the final chapter. This becomes necessary in order to in order to survive in the third millennium. The suggestion is made that God. in order to get a fresh start, could recycle the earth as he did with the Great Flood.


About the Author

James B. Platts was raised on a small farm near Niagara Falls, Canada. He served briefly in the Canadian Army in WWII. After a business career, he developed an avid interest in theology. He published his first manuscript Jesus the Petulant Archangel in 1999, followed by Angels Through The Ages in 2001.
