About the Book
"George Forrest has spent a lifetime absorbing events, experiences, and emotions of both humanity and nature. His poetry gives it all back, word pictures that, like a good photograph, recall images of a time we shall never see again."-Ken Reyher, Poet-Author, Olathe, Co.
"George Forrest, in his new collection, speaks in straightforward, home-spun language with a minimum of excess. His shorter poems cut right to the marrow of meaning, his longer ones become narrative woven with philosophy and a not-quite expected ending. They fit together like photos in an old family album."-Margery Peck, Poetess-Author, Las Cruces, NM. I am excited about presenting to you my poetry. Hopefully your reading these words will bring fun, excitement, a bit of wisdom and a lot of warm feelings and pleasure. Relax and enjoy.About the Author
