About the Book

With writing experiences that extends through training manuals and technical documentation, Angela Aguiar takes us on a journey of her first published book of poetry, Raining in May.

Through years of reworking and reshaping, she exposes her most inner beautiful and intimate voice, full of intricate emotions in verses that take us through curvatures, places and sounds. After solely sharing her work with family and friends, her hope is that you enjoy this labor of love as much as she enjoyed penning it.

It rained in May but summer has finally arrived. She hopes you'll join her in this adventure and many more to come.

About the Author

Angela Aguiar is a native of São Tome and Príncipe, an island in West Africa and ex-Portuguese colony. She is a graduate of George Mason University, holding a BA in Psychology. She also studied Social Work and Information Systems, and currently works as IT Quality Assurance. A painter and writer, a constant artist, she enjoys her subjects. She lives in Miami, Florida. Raining in May is her first project.
