About the Book

The Anti-Cyclops Papers
Volume Two (2001-2002)

The Cyclopes have single vision, and so lack perspective. Sons of the Titans, weapon makers to the Gods, workers at the forge and keepers of sheep, they dine on human flesh. They command large parts of American government and society, and they wear the cassock of its major religions. These short intense essays were first published in The Valley Explorer, an independent Las Vegas newspaper. Like Volume One, Good Nazis In Office, Good Niggers In Jail, these cage rattling, illusion shattering, convention challenging viewpoints may change the way you think about rights, government, schools, drugs, and America's agenda for world empire.

About the Author

James was raised near White Sands NM, son of a rocket radio engineer and an artist. After studying physics at New Mexico Tech, he entered Marine Corps pilot training, and eventually served as a helicopter gunship pilot in Viet Nam. He was highly decorated, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, but drummed out for smoking marijuana. After going from the DMZ to Woodstock in 1969, James tuned in, turned on, and dropped out. Three quick divorces. Psychedelics, Scientology, Wicca, Tao, and Jesus. Folk music composer, actor, singer, playwright, TV show host, occult publisher's editorial assistant. Resolving to select a workable truth and settle down, in 1980 he returned to his home town and raised a family. James lived several years in Las Vegas, where he wrote the bi-monthly newspaper column in which these articles first appeared. James now writes full time in New Mexico.
