-Ozzie and Rubie Davis, actors.

"James C. Floyd is an elf who reinvents himself. His work is magic. It caries a universal message that is simple and direct, saying out loud the things I have felt."
-Earl Hooks, Professor Emeritus, Fisk University

"Your book of poetry is a work of art. I keep it on my bedside table and read from it nightly."
-Winfield Dunn, former Governor of Tennessee.

"Some Gentle Moving Thing is marvelous. So marvelous that I have been inspired to conduct a poetry reading group at our center."
-Mary Elliot, Director, Donelson/Hermitage (TN) Senior Citizen Center

"The poetic voice of James C. Floyd is an immaculate gift of natural artistry. It is a spiritual revival to experience his poetry on the wings of his voice."
