About the Book

Being a product of the Baby Boomer generation during the 60's and 70's resulted in many traumatic twists and turns in the life of Bruce Codrington. A quiet, shy, and lonely child, he enjoyed daydreaming and planning to become an architect/designer or a bus driver.

Life seemed like so much fun for him during the 60's. That was of course until the Black Power movement, peer pressure, race relations going into the toilet, and the most evil demon of all-DRUGS.

Bruce shares his story from the heart with deep, honest emotions that will keep you wondering how he survived. His experiences will make you laugh, cry, search your own soul, and feel his victory as he unfolds his journey to overcome all odds, learning to love himself again.

From out of his deep, dark world of drug addiction, incarcerations, loneliness, depression and feelings of being unloved came the blessings of a woman that helped to change his life forever. About the Author

Bruce Codrington was born in Jamaica, New York. He held various jobs after completing drug rehabilitation in 1971. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1983 where his two sons were raised. Bruce and his wife Janice currently reside in Alpharetta, Georgia where he works in the travel industry and both are Ministry Leaders for married couples in their church.
