About the Book

Colorful Blues is a collection of short stories about relationships that take rather unusual turns along the way. The female characters narrate emotions that run the gamut from patience, hope and naivete to insecurity, generosity and empathy. These women have the uncanny ability to make the best of, at least make light of an unfortunate situation. The stories in this collection are narrated in a female, African American voice. The stories are insightful, candid and remarkably colorful.
