About the Author

A retired Army Lieutenant General, the author and his wife, Carol, grew up in the Kanawha Valley and now live in Virginia?s Shenandoah Valley, in the shadow of Buffalo Gap. The story of Blue Spring draws on their shared fifty-year journey together and their study of the land called Augusta.
