About the Book

This book is an attempt to discredit the notion that independent restaurants can't compete with Chains. It takes planning, ingenuity and dedication. Stan's story is how he started out with limited knowledge and capital to become one of the more successful operators in his area.

About the Author

Besides working as a manager and a consultant, Stan Bader has owned and operated five different restaurants. Each one was a turn-around situation. He is Past President of the NJ Rest. Assn; the Chamber of Commerce of Sharon Springs, NY and past Chairman of the Ft. Myers chapter of SCORE.
