About the Book
The poetry, prose, and artwork included in Mixed Nuts was selected from nearly 100 submissions from the Charlevoix High School Student Body—9th through 12th graders. After a thoughtful selection process, the students of Mr. Bachus’ Mass Media class have put together the following collection of some of the best writing and artwork from our school. This collection is meant to not only honor and highlight the work included in this magazine, but also to inspire other student writers, artists, and craftsman to let their light shine.
About the Author
Most Language Art classes focus on student understanding in literature. The Mass Media class deals with the advertising, music, movies, and online media that flood most students’ lives. And what better way to understand these media than to create your own publication for the masses? Hence, Mixed Nuts.
